Katy lives in Bristol. her father was a Greek Cypriot, her mother English, and was a fun-loving and daring youngster until life changed forever in her teens when her mother committed suicide.

“Obviously it has changed Katy and the way she approached life,” says Katerina’s friend Catherine Westlake who wrote an introduction to Cobwebs in the closet become angels flying high. Catherine goes on to say, “There are issues that perhaps Katy hasn’t really thought about through the years, or indeed shared with anyone else, that are explored in this book.”

Katerina is one of life’s survivors and has determined nothing will stop her enjoying life to the full however she can.

As she says in the book –
The one who falls and gets up
is so much stronger
than the one who never fell.
